After months of design and testing, we’re proud to release the Tier One Metalworks Cross Bar range — engineered for strength, versatility, and a truly modular setup.
Every bar is fully adjustable, interchangeable, and can be mounted in any rail position, giving you total freedom to customise your rack for touring, trade, or everyday use.

Cross Bar Options

Low-Profile Light-Duty Channel

Lightweight, slim, and ideal for direct rooftop-tent mounting or lighter gear. Reinforced with welded supports underneath for added strength — stronger than comparable alternatives. Each bar is curved to follow the roofline for the lowest, cleanest fit.

High-Profile Heavy-Duty Alloy Extrusion (Exclusive to Tier One)

Our custom-designed aluminium extrusion, made locally and built for serious loads. Ideal for trades or heavy touring setups. Features four-sided T-slots for endless mounting possibilities with standard M8 hardware — the ultimate modular option.

RHS Tube Heavy-Duty Cross Bars

Our proven original design — ultra-solid, slimline, and low profile for a clean, practical fit. Perfect when you need heavy-duty strength while keeping your setup as low as possible.

• 50 × 25 × 3 mm RHS steel

• Sand-blasted, zinc-primed & powder-coated

• Roof clearance ≈ 8–10 mm

100 / 105 Series Variants

Because the 105 Series roof profile steps outward ≈ 80 mm front-to-back, we manufacture three bar sizes to ensure a perfect fit:

• Bar 1 (rear): 1015 mm internal / 1115 mm external

• Bar 2 (middle): 1050 mm internal / 1150 mm external

• Bar 3 (front): 1080 mm internal / 1180 mm external

What’s included:

Important Note

All cross-bar sets include a rear-tab bar unless ordering a ute setup.
If you don’t plan to run a rear wing, please specify this in your order notes — otherwise we’ll include one tabbed bar to suit the wing (except alloy extrusion).
If you think you may add a wing later, we recommend keeping the tabbed bar and simply mounting it with the tabs facing inward for now.
