After more than 10 months of design, development, and testing, we’re proud to release our 100/105 Series roof rails to the market. These rails are built for strength, versatility and simplicity. These rails offer multiple mounting options with slotted holes along the top face, giving you flexibility to position your cross bars or tent exactly where you need them.
Our goal from day one has been to develop a sleek, low-profile rail system that allows for direct rooftop tent mounting– meaning you don’t need to run a full roof rack or even cross bars. This option typically requires modifying your tent or drilling through the tent base, but it's the ideal solution for anyone seeking the lightest and lowest-profile setup possible.
Prefer not to drill? No worries – you can mount any of our cross bar systems instead for a completely bolt-on solution.
Mounting Options Include:
- Steel Cross Bars – Low-profile, designed to sit between the rails. 8-10mm clearance at the highest roof point. (current photos show the rail sitting slightly closer, this is only a prototype set, finished rails will be slightly higher.
- Aluminium Extrusion Bars (Not yet available, will be released in the next few weeks) – 80x25mm T-slot bars that mount on top of the rails.
- Platform Racks – mount existing platform racks like the OCAM flat racks directly to the rails (may need to drill holes in the rails to suit).
- Direct Tent Mounting – For the lowest setup, mount your rooftop tent directly to the rails (modifications generally required).
Unlike many other systems, we’ve designed our rails to use all four factory mounting positions for added strength. The one-piece rail design mounts directly to the roof using outward-facing feet, which makes install easier – particularly when direct-mounting a tent.
All rails are built from 3mm mild steel, zinc electroplated, and satin black powder-coated. Electroplating is one of the best corrosion protection methods available – the same process used by Superior Engineering for their signature suspension arms. It removes mill scale and provides a superior bond for powder coating.
At this stage we don’t offer colour coding of rails but can supply everything raw at a reduced price.
*This is only the side rails, cross bars, wings, and other accessories are all sold separately. This is due to many only requiring the side rails to direct mount a tent.
Additional Features:
- Awning Compatibility: The passenger-side rail includes three sets of holes with embedded flush rivnuts – perfect for mounting awnings using our optional brackets. (soon to be released)
- Complete Kit: Includes all rubbers and 304 stainless steel hardware. Supplied bolts are 20mm long, suitable for roof racks and thin tent bases. (If directly mounting a tent, longer bolts and large washers may be needed.)
- Trimming Required: You may need to trim your factory roof trim to access the front mounting location – not all models come pre-cut.
- Accessories Sold Separately: Cross bars, rear wings, and brackets are sold separately for full customization.
