Tier One Metalworks Rear Wing

The Tier One Metalworks Rear Wing is the perfect add-on to our Roof Rack Rails, completing your setup with a seamless and functional finish.
Just like our rails, it’s 100% Australian-made and engineered for strength, precision, and durability in the harshest Aussie conditions.

The rear wing connects directly to the side rails via two mounting plates, forming a continuous platform that ties the entire system together. It not only looks clean and finished but also serves a practical purpose — helping stop that dreaded rain gap between your tent and awning when you’re set up camping.
It’s designed so that when running a 270° awning, the awning can overlap the wing, preventing water from dripping through and adding additional support to your setup.

We’ve added a folded gutter edge on the end of the wing. This not only adds structural strength but also channels water away from the opening and down the sides, keeping your setup dry and functional in all conditions.

The rear wing also doubles as a mounting point for LED strip lighting or other accessories, giving you flexibility to expand your setup as your needs grow.

Built from 2 mm mild steel, zinc-electroplated, and satin black powder-coated, the rear wing offers the same premium finish and corrosion protection as our rails.

Please note: the rear wings are not self-supporting and must be mounted either to one of our cross bars or directly to your rack or rooftop tent. If you're using our cross bars, we supply one specifically designed for this purpose — it comes fitted with three small tabs to bolt directly to the wing for a secure, integrated setup.

Note: The rear wing is sold separately and requires our Tier One Roof Rack Rails for installation.
