Tier One Metalworks Awning Brackets

Our Tier One Metalworks Awning Brackets are specifically designed to suit our Roof Rack Rails.
All wagon-style rails come with pre-installed fixings built into the rails, allowing these brackets to be mounted quickly and securely — no drilling, no guesswork.

Bracket Styles Available

  • Style 1: Designed for 270º awnings with slim arms, allowing clearance from the rear wing.
Ideal for Bushwakka Extreme, Darche, or Kings (when flipping the arms).

  • Style 2: A higher-mount version of Style 1, developed for larger 270º awnings that need additional clearance above the rear wing or doors.
Best suited for larger awnings such as the CSS 270 XL and OT 270 XL.

  • Style 3: Designed for traditional side awnings, offering a simple, sturdy solution with a clean side profile.
Can also be used on the driver’s side for shower awnings (requires drilling into the rails).

Additional Notes

If you’re running a rear wing, your 270º awning can overlap it to eliminate the dreaded rain gap that usually forms between your tent and awning while camping.
This overlap acts as a weather shield — the original reason our rear wing design was developed.

We recommend using three brackets for 270º awnings. Smaller side awnings can be mounted with two Style 3 brackets.

100 / 105 Series

If you’re mounting a rooftop tent alongside an awning, the tent may need to be off-centre.
At the rear, the outside rail-to-rail width is 1125 mm, with a 50 mm gap between the awning bracket cutout and roof rack.
We recommend 1.2 m-wide tents for best fitment — larger tents may require tent-mounted awning brackets.

With Style 1 and 2 brackets, we don’t recommend mounting awnings over 25 kg.

Mounting System

All wagon rails include two embedded rivnuts in three locations for direct bracket mounting.
This system has been proven across hundreds of 270º awning setups with zero failures.
In testing, the bolts tore through the bracket before any movement occurred at the rivnuts — proving the strength and reliability of the system.
