As these vehicles are relatively uncommon in Australia, we manufacture these rails to order rather than keeping them on the shelf. Current production lead times are approximately 6–8 weeks.

After almost two years on the market, our GU Patrol SWB Roof Rack Rail Sides have established themselves as one of Australia's toughest and most versatile slimline mounting systems.
Proudly 100% Australian made, each set is manufactured from 304 stainless steel and finished in our signature satin black powder coat for a premium finish.
Originally designed for direct rooftop tent mounting, these rails allow you to bolt your tent directly to the vehicle for the ultimate low-profile setup. Sitting approximately 25mm above the roof (as low as 10mm when paired with our RHS Crossbars) they keep your setup tucked neatly to the vehicle while allowing you to expand with crossbars, a rear wing and other accessories over time.
Our modular design lets you start with just the side rails and build your setup over time. When you're ready, add one of our optional Rear Wings for a seamless, finished look. We've even gone the extra step of powder coating the supplied mounting hardware for a premium finish right down to the smallest details.

MOUNTING OPTIONS
We've designed these rails to suit a wide range of mounting setups, from simple direct mounts to full roof rack setups.
- Low Profile Light Duty Cross Bars – The perfect all-rounder: strong, simple, practical and lightweight. Ideal for use with a rooftop tent, providing 10-15mm of roof clearance.
- RHS Heavy-Duty Low-Profile Cross Bars – Designed to sit between the rails, offering the lowest-profile crossbar option with 8-10 mm of roof clearance.
- High-Profile Heavy-Duty Aluminium Extrusion Bars – 80 × 25 mm T-slot crossbars that mount on top of the rails, creating a highly modular system for those who need maximum versatility and carrying capacity.
- Platform Racks – Mount compatible platform racks (Such as OCAM Mesh Rack and Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform) directly to the rails. Some platform racks may require modification for installation.
Direct Tent Mounting – For the lowest-profile setup, mount your rooftop tent directly to the rails (Modifications to the tent base may be required and could affect your rooftop tent manufacturer's warranty).
The passenger-side rail comes pre-drilled with three awning mounting points, each fitted with flush-mounted riv nuts for quick and easy installation of our optional awning brackets. No drilling, no guesswork!
FITTING INFORMATION
- Pre-Drilled Mounting: The rails sides are pre-drilled to suit OCAM Mesh Racks. Other platform racks can also be fitted, although drilling may be required.
- Rooftop Tent Compatibility: Most rooftop tents can be bolted directly through the base or frame. A compatibility guide is coming soon.
- Supplied Hardware: Includes 20mm mounting bolts, ideal for platform racks and thin tent bases. Longer bolts and larger washers may be required for thicker tent bases.
